added: 2016-01-13 One Time anew there's no bed to take the 'licks' of the thongs just my exposed hands. This was a form of discipline in Canadian schools until the 1970s. It was likewise common in Scotland and Ireland. The leather tawse was the belt favoured in Scotland, rubber thong in Canada a leather belt in Ireland. I have used other miniature belts to belt my hands effectively and they are in the order they appear in this movie: two thicknesses of leather riveted jointly with a firm core, London Tanners thin thong (H) which may be called a school thong, two leather belts attached to a wood handle,Hanson's (now Paddlewerks) 5 finger tawse, and Hanson's (now Paddlewerks) short razor strop one as well as the other the vinyl and leather sides.
